This year's M2O race was the most challenging and grueling in recent memory.
The Blue Planet 14' x 28" Bump Rider model was well represented and the results show that this board works great in all conditions. It excels in good downwind conditions but also glides well in light winds.

Check out this video interview with the race winner Travis Grant on the day before the race with photos and video from race day and some great insights from the two times M2O champion:
Ready to go!
Starting off in decent conditions
The going gets tougher as we approach Oahu.
Finally approaching Portlock Point with a big south swell
Jeff Chang catches a nice wave at China Walls and finishes second in his age group, well done!
Robert Stehlik wins his age group division.
A great day for the Blue Planet race team, see you next year!

This year's Wet Feet/ Blue Planet WPA race was held on the south shore from Hawaii Kai to Kaimana. It was the first downwind paddleboard race of the season and we are looking forward to many good races this summer. Thanks to all the participants and we hope to see you for the Wet Feet/ Blue Planet WPA Regional Championships, scheduled for September 15th.
Here is a short race recap by Jeff Chang:
Conditions were good and times were fast. The heavy hitters were out today and the battle for first was tight and it came down to the wire with Scott Gamble getting the edge on Kaeo Abbey at the last mark before the finish by getting the most out of a small wave. The winning time was 1:09 beach to beach! On the women's side favorite Morgan Hoesterey led the whole way and bested the field on a 14. Thanks to all those who came out to support and participate today and especially to the volunteers.

Race Season is Here! To kick it off this summer Wet Feet and Blue Planet Surf have teamed up once again to bring you an event on June 9th, 2013. The details are on the flyer below. You can pre-register here. We hope to see you out on the water!
This is not a new product but we've sold quite a few of these this last week and have fielded quite a few questions about it. Everyone is gearing up for summer races and our High Performance Paddle Edge Tape is a great way to be slimmer in the water on the big day. So I figured I'd post a refresher video so everyone gets a proper application.
