Learn from an expert and have fun from the first try. We guarantee that you will be able to paddle on your first day and will learn the basics without the frustration of learning by trial and error. By learning good technique right from the start you will avoid getting used to bad habits that are more difficult to "unlearn" later. Our first priority is that you have fun and enjoy your first experience, our second priority is that you learn the basics of SUP and will also introduce you to more advanced techniques that will shorten the learning curve.
We will customize the lesson to your needs. After assessing your skill level, we will work on specific techniques using drills to help you advance quickly to have more fun on the water. One lesson can be equal to months of learning by trial and error on your own.
Our instructors can help you perfect your technique with personal attention. The fastest paddlers in the world are the ones that always work on improving their technique and efficiency (not just their fitness). We can also help build a personal fitness/ training plan for you to help you reach your goals. When you are ready, our trainers can take you on a guided surf tour to uncrowded surf breaks, on longer distance and downwind runs and help you prepare for races.
If you are an experienced SUP surfer, we can take you to the best spots on the island. We have the local knowledge to find uncrowded, quality waves depending on the conditions. We will coach you on important local knowledge like shallow reefs, channels, etiquette, and show you where to position yourself to get the best rides. Let us help you catch the best waves of your life.
Best results are achieved with one on one training or two students per instructor. We also offer, on request: personal fitness/ diet consulting, goal setting, training plans, race preparation and strategy, downwind paddle technique and long distance training.
