Hometown: Cannes, France; Honolulu, Hawaii; currently Playa Negra, Costa Rica.
What I do when I’m not on the water: Taking care of our family business in Costa Rica.
How and when I got into SUP: It was around the beginning of the sport, maybe in 07. It was after my friend Robert Stehlik got into it, and was selling boards at Blue Planet. It was exciting to learn a new sport.
What I like most about SUP: Being able to explore new spots, paddle to outside reefs, and look for uncrowded waves. It’s fun on flat water or small waves, and even big waves.
Favorite Blue Planet gear: Right now I’m enjoying the 8’4 Ninja Star and the 7’6 Microchip for surfing. And I’m also getting into the hydrofoil, thanks again to Robert and Blue Planet. Once again, it is a new sport, a new learning curve and a new sensation. I can’t wait for the new Blue Planet Easy Foiler models to come out.
What “Find Paradise” means to me: Find Paradise means a lot to me. It’s a state of mind that can be hard to reach, but very rewarding once you are there. It is about being happy where I am. Being healthy and with the people that I love. To go where I dream to go and do the things that I dream of doing. Find Paradise is a challenge, staying in it is my mission.
I’m proud of this accomplishment: I’m proud to be a Blue Planet team rider. I’m grateful for the life that I have, I was given opportunities to dream and to follow my dreams. So I did.
Something on my “Bucket List”: Surf a good wave on my 100th birthday.
