The third generation of our highest performance paddle is here with a refined blade design and a more pronounced blade shape and elongated outline. The deeper concave and pointed tip make for a cleaner entry, powerful catch and a smoother power phase. The oval tapered shaft has a slightly thinner diameter and is lighter than the Kai Zen V2. The thinner diameter allows for a more relaxed grip and a bit more flex. The ergonomic handle is hot glued and allows the length to be adjusted using only a heat gun, so you can vary the paddle's length without sacrificing fixed length performance.  The blade neck is shorter for a more rigid, stronger connection to the shaft.  The oval shape is comfortable in the hand, allows for a tighter connection that can't twist, and the hydrodynamic blade neck shape prevents air bubbles from forming for less "slippage".  The blade is designed for a smooth entry, solid catch and a smooth power phase for efficient strokes.  The ergonomic handle promotes good technique.  The tapered shaft has a "Mano Grip" texture that prevents slipping without causing blisters on long paddles.  

 

The Kai Zen V3 is the ultimate performance paddle for racing and in the surf.
