Blue Planet PSUPA SUP Instructor Certification Class

This is offered as a two day, in person class in Hale'iwa on Oahu's North Shore

Day 1- (~8 hours)- both days will include classroom training in the morning and on water paractice in the afternoon and will be held at the Blue Planet Adventure deck on the river in Hale'iwa.  Participants will receive the course material once signed up and are expected to present on assigned topics.  Participants will also get access to exclusive online course videos.

Day 2- (~8 hours) will also be held as a group class at Blue Planet Adventure Co in Haleiwa, Oahu.  Use of equipment is included in class fee.  Morning class session will include more theory, presentations, gear knowledge, mock SUP classes, and on the water training and rescue techniques.  Day two is also valid as a refresher course (certification is good for 4 years).

Please note: Group class may be re-scheduled or canceled if we have less than 3 participants

Private instructor training class can be arranged for date of your choice ($800 for one or two participants)

If there is sufficient interest, we can also offer Downwind Coaching Certificate and SUP Surfing Instructor Certificate.  These two one day certification courses are available to certified SUP instructors only (fee is $200 per day).

To get officially certified as a PSUPA SUP instructor, participants must:

• complete and pass both the theoretical and the practical portions of the course
• become current member of PSUPA 
• be CPR/ first aid certified
